RESEARCH CENTRE
 
  The Research Centre of Mathematics was inaugurated by Sri. E. Sampath Kumar, Emeritus Professor, Mysore University on 31st July, 2009. Dr. H.B. Walikar, Professor, Karnatak University, Dharwad, ignited the spark of knowledge in all our minds in his inaugural address. Sri K. C. Ramamurthy, IPS, Chairman, CMRGI conveyed in his inaugural address that the management will give full support and encouragement for promoting the research activities. Dr. L. Sudershan Reddy, Professor and Vice-Principal, CMRIT, who dreamt of having a Research Centre since the inception of the institute, insisted that the department will actively take part in giving seminars, producing quality technical articles for the mathematics newsletter TECHMATH, paper presentations and so on.  
   
  Department of Mathematics has three doctorates in diverse fields like Graph theory, Polynomial Algebra and Finite Automata, who have been carrying out research from the past one decade. Also six research scholars pursuing Ph.D in various fields.
